The authors were genuinely excited about a "new world" coming out of the pandemic back in June, 2020 just as it really got going. Reading this leaves no doubt, it was all planned. Interesting read. Alas for the wicked, good news for the Saints, God has other plans!

The FBI and federal prosecutor’s office have opened an investigation into New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s handling of nursing homes and nursing home death data during the coronavirus pandemic.
Cuomo, who wrote a book bragging about his handling of the health crisis, has found himself knee-deep in scandal, with a New York attorney general investigation finding Cuomo’s administration obscured key data and issued directives that may have led to an increase in nursing home deaths. In addition, multiple media investigations have concluded that New York undercounted the number of coronavirus patients sent into nursing homes in New York, fueling calls by Republicans and an increasing number of Democrats for transparency and accountability.

But we are not all in this together. Small businesses have been crushed while select global corporations have remained open. They’ve flourished. Amazon, Wal-Mart, Costco, Sam’s and Target for example.

More than a dozen prominent Republicans have been hit with censure resolutions by state or county parties this year. Most of which were for voting to impeach Trump or to convict the former president at trial in the Senate because they hold him responsible for the Jan. 6 siege of the Capitol by his grassroots supporters. Some Republicans were censured because party activists decided they ignored Trump’s claims that the 2020 election was stolen.
“In terms of this particular vote, it hit a raw nerve with people,” said Michael Whatley, chairman of the North Carolina Republican Party. “Folks from one end of the state to the other were disappointed.”
