@sinbach nice table! Just a personal question. Have you slept at all the last 24 hours? π€£ You have shared posts around the clock. How do you handle new time zones and jet lag? I don't get it... If I go to Thailand (5 hours ahead), it's okay after 3 days there. BUT when I come back it takes 1-2 weeks to find a normal sleeping rhythm. I wake up in the middle of the night. And you travel at least every month.
@Chimneysweepwife I love this! Spot on!
@davereimer honestly, I don't know! I've shared about DD several times and she's the first taker! People need to frustrated with FB. Those who only share food and animal pictures don't care... they need to be frustrated with the censorship to search for something better.
I am so happy that my friend Kat joined DD after I marketed it on FB! She is a wise, deep and humorous Swedish speaking Finnish woman. Welcome @KatRau!
@VeritasDomain π
@sinbach I love and miss Arlanda! I have traveled a lot non-stop Vasa-Arlanda. Love to stroll around Arlanda. (For people like me who go by plane a maximum of 2 times a year normal years, it's a special feeling... for you it's more like your living room). Have a safe trip!
@sinbach it feels so good to be a Dingdasher and be able to openly confess being a round earther, without getting censored or ridiculed... ππ
@Berrybunchfamily so true!
@Berrybunchfamily yes, you're right regarding Nokia! There is even a city close to Tampere called Nokia. But Nokia lost the battle against the Asian brands.
Did you know that Linux was invented 30 years ago in Finland, by a guy called Linus? https://www.helsinkitimes.fi/finland/news-in-brief/20083-linus-torvalds-a-finnish-swede-who-changed-computing-forever.html?fbclid=IwAR1Tjo_jNoCndyQOnCiXp6AHLFC4xQfhpLDrA2zhhFIc_dFQN8ugg03b5Zc
@MaryMamuzich I've visited that city once - it's close to the Swedish border where Eugene stays. All of Norway looks like a fairy tale. All cozy wooden houses. Lots of mountains and fjords. The only other place in the world where they have similar fjord landscapes, is the Lord of the Rings movie locations in New Zealand. Most Norwegians are outdoor people. They use to regularly "gΓ₯ pΓ₯ tur", meaning hiking in the mountains. They own small mountain cabins.
@bethany congratulations π! I am so glad that you made it! God hears prayers! Your thank speech is more touching than the Oscar winners' speeches! π π
Swedish-speaking Finn from Finland. Wife, mother of one boy (2008). Teaching special education at the local university. I belive that the Organic Church/House Church is the NT way of doing Church. I'm interested in what's going on in the underground Church and I pray for the persecuted Christians.
