@bethany Amen!
@Cmarquis @bethany Hi! Sorry for the late response - it was a busy weekend. What do we do at house church meetings? Well.. we eat, we talk, we pray, we share the goodness of the Lord, we share our troubles, we preach the Cross to each other, we encourage each other to pick up the mantle of individual calling. We break bread in houses. We've been through many lessons when it comes to a house church (since 2016), painful, joyful, embarrassing, or full of glory. We want to live The Gospel at the dining table. AND these meetings are 9/10 times with believers only, to provide a safe zone for fast growth (and create more house church leaders ASAP). We also meet once a week on a large meeting - all of the house church caretakers and most of the members - to interact, to listen to testimonies, teachings, to worship together, to exchange experience, to uplift one another.
I hope it does not sound too generic as there are many house churches with different characteristics :-)
Through the healing hands of a deep massage this sweet prostitute encountered the Lord. Itβs so amazing how God partners with us in creative ways to reach out & save people. Among the cats, the guard dog & pimp this woman heard the gospel for the first time in her own brothel.π Please pray for her complete freedom.π
@ChristieLeanne Ahhh! Dear sister Christie, you are amazing! π
Guys I can't give any details and I will not be posting this information on any other forum, but this week is really important to us at BTJ. we have Chinese pastors that have traveled to be together for the first time since the pandemic started last year. It is amazing to be with them and in prayer with them, but we need to plan the best way to support the church in China for this year. We do not want our own ideas, agendas, and thoughts to pollute what God has for us. Please pray for the leading and the guiding of the Holy Spirit during this time.
@eyasu2020 where did this happen? πͺ
@Asianking It is so nice of you that you are constantly writing to us from the near future π I love the Nepal calendar π Blessings Brother!
"Lose your rationality. Lose your common sense and way of thinking and listen to the Holy Spirit" says BTJ's UK Director @bethany as she calls out for young people to join the Chinese underground house church in Completing the Great Commission. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuyeDIiYkk8
@bethany π€£ add my 3:46 to the casualty count
@farmerjohn @KarlGessler Amen. Every week I see new people travelling 10ths of killometers to pray with us in person in our undisclosed location. Because other churches went online, and after a year of restrictions people are fed up with digital gatherings.
@sinbach even you need to rant from time to time π
When I look at all the "life saving" policies enforced by governments, cancel culture, "I'm offended" mindset, travel ban, lockdowns.. it all looks like a massive, coordinated attack on Mathew 28, 19-20. Maybe, just maybe, the enemy is firing from all his guns because he knows that something BIG is coming. Or maybe I'm just daydreaming?
Sending my warmest greetings!
Please pray for Pastoer Jimmy Coates and his wife Erin and their family. #revivecanada
