I am a big music fan too brother. I enjoy a wide variety of genres in music, pop, rock, ballads, blues, country, classical etc etc. What I find in my walk with God is that the closer I draw to Him and His Word that my desire for non-christian music decreases in space. As I endeavour to serve Him and be as close to Him as possible I want to praise Him in "hymns, psalms and spiritual songs." Thus in my opinion we do not need to stop anything, but draw close to Him and the Spirit will guide your use of your time. @StevenBerry
