38. Seraiah son of Neriah (Jeremiah 51:59). A brother of Baruch the scribe and disciple of the prophet Jeremiah, at the time of Jehoiakim king of Judah (609-598 BC). A Lachish seal reads: lsryhw nryhw “Belonging to Serayahu, (son of) Neriyahu.”
