39. Jeroboam II (2 Kings 13:13, etc). A king of Israel (793-753 BC). A seal found at Megiddo reads: lsm‘ ‘bd yrb‘m “Shema, minister of Jeroboam.” Dated by epigraphy to mid eighth century BC.
