176. Intelligent Design

The Krebs cycle is a metabolic pathway involving 12 enzymes and is used by organisms that respire to generate energy. The cycle is unlikely to have come about by chance. (Cf. Progress in Biophysics and Molecular Biology 172, August 2022, 24-38).
