"Go ye into all the WORLD..."

"Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the WORLD."
Jesus Christ

In today's church, "God's generals" are only apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. That's why we can't establish God's kingdom everywhere in the society. But in the time of David, God's generals also included soldiers and political strategists like Hushai. No wonder David was able to subdue the whole land for God.

Jesus Christ is so full of love and mercy that we don't need to "grab" Him before we can access His blessings. Just the slightest touch of even the backside of His garment uncorks the receptacle of living water and we'll have an avalanche of His love and mercy.

The woman with the issue of blood said: "If I can touch the hem of His garment, I'll be made whole."

And I say: "If I can touch the hem of His garment, the world will be made whole."

Our redemption wasn't purchased by Jesus Christ in phases, instalments, or batches, but "at once". SIN, SICKNESS, SORROW, all gone at once -
"AT-ONE-MENT".

If the blood of Jesus Christ could wash away all your sins, the stripes of Jesus Christ can take away all your sicknesses.

This generation of believers may not know what it means to mark one's Bible this way. I remember how I marked one of my earliest Bibles to the point that it became "digitally" easy to find anywhere I was looking for in the Bible. I love digital Bibles, but I treasure hard copy Bibles.

But why should every minister of the gospel in the New Testament focus on "elementary" doctrines like repentance from sin, faith towards God, baptism, rapture, heaven, hell, etc.? Read Hebrews 5:11-14; 6:1-3

ME: These "elementary" doctrines of the Bible are the foundations on which the weightier doctrines are laid. Any believer who lacks the foundational doctrines, can't grow properly in the faith.

In counting numbers, we do so in this order: 1, 2, 3...

You can't neglect no 1 and attempt to jump to 1,000. You'll certainly crash if you do so.

It's only after believers are grounded in the elementary doctrines that we can take them to higher levels in the doctrines of Christ. Don't be too ambitious to learn deep things of Christ, while you're neglecting the valuable truths of Christ provided for you in shallow waters.

Greatness mostly is not known by the extraordinary things we do, but by some simple acts of restraints and self control.

How come Jesus who once sat in the church as the Lord is now outside knocking on the door to come in? The church chased her Lord away but He returns in love knocking and saying, "Open to me, my love and my dove for my head is filled with dew." What love! Incredible love!

Whenever the church speaks of God's generals, we only hear about Charles G. Finney, John G. Lake, Maria Woodworth-Etter, William J. Seymour, Billy Graham, etc.

But we don't mention names of Christian inventors and scientists like, Isaac Newton, Gregor Mendel, Blaise Pascal, Michael Faraday, George Washington Carver, etc.

I think one of the reasons why we've acknowledged some people as God's generals and despise the others is because of our lack of understanding of the gospel of the kingdom of God. If we aim at establishing God's kingdom in every sphere of human society, we'll appreciate everyone who does exploits in various sectors.

Ponder on this 🤔

At the time when Isaac was born to Abraham's family, Abraham was about 100 years old, while Sarah was about 90 years old. The Bible records that it was clinically impossible for them to have children at that age.

But after the couple's bodies were quickened by the power of God, they both received power to conceive. This was how Isaac was born.

However, the quickening of Sarah's body didn't continue after Isaac was born. After the birth of Isaac, nature came back and she couldn't conceive again till she died.

However, after Abraham's body was quickened, he remained virile for many more years. It appears that his whole reproductive system received a rejuvenation. After the death of Sarah, Abraham could still marry a new wife called Keturah with whom they had 6 sons.

What are the lessons for us to learn from this?

It's a sign of irresponsibility when we fold our arms or at best merely pray for God to intervene in some earthly affairs, whereas Jesus had already said to us, "Occupy (be in charge) till I return."

God is so great that He doesn't need to show all His might to address any situation. All that God needs to change any system, no matter how complex, is just a pinch of leaven or salt. We're the salt of the earth and we're also the living leaven that is meant to influence the evil "dough" of the world's system.

Pharaoh conceived the evil idea of destroying all the male children of the Israelites at the maternity wards as the only way to cripple the nation of Israel. We also conceived the vision of saving the souls of the future leaders of our nation at the secondary and tertiary schools, which are like a "maternity ward". We're training the future leaders of our nation at the "Inner Chambers" out of the sight of the wicked "Athaliahs" of this generation.

It's obvious now that the politicians can't change our countries for good. Things will keep getting worse till the church will arise with the gospel of the kingdom.

"And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD'S." Obadiah 21

On your path to greatness, like Joseph, expect rejection from your friends and family, betrayal, false accusations, loneliness, service, abandonment, and finally, enthronement.

Where you are may look small, but it's your "university"; a microcosm of the universe, where God is training you for a universal impact. If you succeed there, you'll rule the world.
