The voice of wisdom is far more reliable than that of prophecy. Probably that's why the Word of Wisdom is the first on the list of the gifts of the Spirit, while Prophecy is no 6. Sadly, many so-called prophets have erred by giving out false prophecies when they sacrificed wisdom on the altar of prophecy.

"And we believe and are sure that thou [Jesus] art that Christ, the Son of the living God." John 6:69

"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him." Job 13:15

It's interesting that all believers are called the "Sons" (not Daughters) of God. At the same time, the church is called the "Bride" (not Groom) of Christ, and the New Jerusalem where Jesus will live with His Church was described in Revelation as a Bride adorned for Her husband. There's no gender bias with our God as some people allege.

It's a historical, spiritual, and eternal fact that Jesus Christ died and was buried, and that He rose again after three days. When you peep into the graves of other people, including religious leaders, who have died, you can still trace particles of their decomposed bodies. But when you peep into the grave of my Lord, Love, and Saviour Jesus Christ, if at all you'll find anything there, it will only be the napkin that was used to wrap His body. Jesus Christ is alive forever.

Do you know that the power which God exerted when He raised up Jesus Christ from the dead is the greatest form of God's power?

It's called the Resurrection Power, and it's the peak/supreme manifestation of God's power among humans. It's much superior to the power of creation, the healing power and even the power that divided the Red Sea.

Jesus only displayed a fraction of that power when He raised Lazarus from the dead after he was dead for four days. And that same resurrection power is at work in you if you're born again.

Amazingly, the only man who accompanied Jesus Christ to paradise was a thief and a murderer. He met the Saviour on the cross few minutes to his death. This notorious criminal sang "amazing grace" as he marched with Jesus on the corridors of Hades.

"Up from the grave He (I) arose,
With a mighty triumph o'er His (my) foes,
He (I) arose a victor from the dark domain,
And He lives forever with His Saints to reign,
He (I) arose (2x)
Hallelujah, Christ (I) arose."

Happy Easter Sunday celebration.

It's Good Friday to mankind because -
1. By the injustice which Jesus suffered, He bore the justice of God on our behalf that demanded that we suffer and die.

2. Jesus' shame and reproach on the cross brought us glory and eternal honour.

3. Jesus' cruel death on the cross brought us eternal life.

4. Jesus' 39 stripes were for our healing and health.

5. The blood that flowed from Jesus' pierced sides reconciled us back to God's side.

6. The eternal scars on Jesus' pierced hands will forever be an eternal sign of His sacrifice and love for us.

7. Jesus died as the Last Adam, thereby terminating the cursed and depraved Adamic race. Jesus' death brought an end to the tyranny of the Flesh (our old man) and laid the foundation for the birth of a new race after the image of Christ the New Man

Jesus was born so that He would die, and He died so that He would procure for us eternal redemption.

"I will not boast in anything
No gifts, no power, no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ
His death and resurrection
Why should I gain from His reward?
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom."

Elisha first received from Elijah the mantle of followership, discipleship, and service before he got the mantle for the double portion anointing.

The double portion mantle that many of us are seeking after is packaged by God as the call unto discipleship.

"So he [Elijah] departed thence, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth: and Elijah passed by him, and cast his mantle upon him. And he left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and said, Let me, I pray thee, kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow thee. And he said unto him, Go back again: for what have I done to thee?" 1 Kings 19:19, 20

Please join us pray for Nigeria. We had our presidential national assembly elections yesterday. We need peace, fairness, and justice. Pray against plans to use the electoral body, Independent National Electoral Commission,(INEC) to rig the election.

"Let thy garments be always white, and let thy head lack no ointment." Ecclesiastes 9:8

White garments (PURITY) must always come before an anointed head (POWER).

Pride changed Lucifer to Satan, the devil; made King Uzziah a leper, and turned the great emperor Nebuchadnezzar to a wild beast for 7 years. Guard your heart against pride.

Religion and politics, for instance, are two parallel lines that can't meet. They're immiscible. But the principles of the kingdom of God can effectively mix with religion, governance, culture, sports, business, etc.

This was why Jesus likened the kingdom of God to a leaven which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened (Matthew 13:33).

I believe that our institutions can be salvaged from the powers of darkness if we the children of the kingdom can introduce the kingdom lifestyle in the various secular spheres - music, catering, sports, education, culture, fashion, finance, business, etc.

Discipline yourself; release all the energy of your soul to love the Lord; spill all your love on Jesus; constantly gaze upon Him. Don't ask Him for anything earthly. After 30 days, send me your testimonies.

The holiest and greatest angels can't live in this evil world as humans. That's the reason why angels respect humans, especially those who have been redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb and who're no more under the dominion of sin and Satan. Beloved, to be alive and standing at this time proves that you're a hero. Please celebrate yourself even if no one does.
