What do you guys think??... I am studying Mark 4 and I find it interesting that when Jesus explains each part of the seeds parable to his disciples, he never directly defines what it means to “bear fruit 30 fold, 60 fold, and 100 fold” (mark 4:8, 20). I would love to hear your perspectives... What do you think it means to “bear fruit 30 fold, 60 fold, and 100 fold”? And secondly, why do you think this is the one part of the parable he never explains further?
@Cmarquis I understand, a little, this Word, that only he who will listen directly to His commandments, without adding or removing anything from them, without mixing His Teaching with his own ideas or those of other people (even Christians) or other religions, that will be able to bear fruit from Jesus. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. (John 15:5)
