What a week, traveled to see my mom in AL where she is in a new facility to care for her dementia. We knew a winter storm was coming but no one here in Houston expected what all happened. While in Alabama a decision was made to stay till things melted.Came home yesterday to a wonderful home with no broken pipes due to the hubby staying here and holding down the fort. There are millions that was not so lucky.
