Hesed (beginning with a “ch” sound, as heard in the normal German pronunciation of the name “Bach,” and rhyming with “bless-éd”) means mercy, lovingkindness, beauty, favour, godliness, covenant loyalty, and so much more.

This is one of the ways Heavenly Father chooses to reveal His inclination toward His covenant people Israel in the Hebrew scriptures. I have fallen ever more deeply in love with Father because of studying this word over the last 15 years. By using it, I am reminded of it more.

@GoodToughStuff Brother Hessed, do you speak and write German also?

@MiBurrito brother, thank you for connecting with me. I am sad to say I do not have any German language skills. But it is good to hear from you.
