As for me:
Tho they slay me, yet will I trust God.
When all churches deny Him, yet will I claim Him.
If I am reviled, called evil, rejected, exiled to prisons for believing His Word,
I will embrace His Word closer to my heart.
I plant both feet at the foot of the cross,
Steady, I will remain steadfast.
I will not call conspiracy all that these people call conspiracy,
I will not fear what they fear,
Nor will I dread it.
The Lord Almighty is the One I will regard Holy,
He is the one I will fear,
He is the one I will dread.
He alone has the power of life and death over me.
His power of love casts out all fear.
And He alone will be my true sanctuary.
When they consult mediums and spiritists,
Who mutter and whisper,
I will inquire of the Lord Almighty.
I do not consult the dead on behalf of the living.
To the Law and to the testimony!
If they do not speak according to this word,
They have no light of dawn within them.
Here I stand!
I shall not be moved!
