27 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:27)
If we don’t have peace from within, world peace doesn’t matter to us much. Many seek distractions to relieve inner turmoil due to all sorts of anxieties from within. But nobody can escape themselves. No matter what we do or our circumstances, the only true peace we can have is the peace Jesus promises His people of a believing heart.
