In creation account Gen.1, 2 there's ONE planet where God put life: EARTH! If he put it elsewhere, he'd have told us. All this stuff about "close encounters" & "alien sightings & abductions" is bunk! "Independence Day" is a movie, not reality! I'll stick with THE BIBLE! Knowing about aliens doesn't help me deal with life on earth. Knowing God does!
@TexasTruthTeller Yes there is Yashsua, I disagree. You call Him Jesus I call Him Yahshua and that is ok. You call on God I call on Father and that is ok. We don't disagree. As to other influences yes the scripture explains those. We battle both the physical and the spiritual.

@TexasTruthTeller @Kat613 'Yeshuva' is the Hebrew name of Jesus. Meaning is 'God the Saviour'. In English it became 'Jesus'. In other languages it will again change. Also the name Joshua also has the same meaning- 'God the Saviour'.

They don't say, "Oh Yeshua!" or "For Yeshua's sake!" or "YESHUA YESHUA!" when they get angry, frustrated, surprised or disgusted. They ALWAYS AND ONLY blurt out the holy name of JESUS CHRIST. @TexasTruthTeller @Kat613 'Yahweh', the God of the Israelites, whose name was revealed to Moses as four Hebrew consonants (YHWH) called the 'tetragrammaton'. Christian scholars after the Renaissance and Reformation periods used the term 'Jehovah' for 'YHWH'. That is why KJV use the name 'Jehovah'.
In the 19th and 20th centuries biblical scholars again began to use the form 'Yahweh'.

She studied this issue at length & told me that "Yeshua" & "Yahweh" is NOT the name of the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob; nor the name of the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. @LukoseGeorge @Kat613 No, Yahweh is NOT same as JEHOVAH. If that was the case, the translators of my KJV would have put Yahweh in that. But they didn't! They put JEHOVAH in the old testament, but that isn't even in the new testament. In the new testament, it is only GOD and JESUS. Again, God tells me to study HIS WORD, not some foreign language to then study his word. That would be crazy! It would discourage me from Bible study. God operates by the "KISS" system: "Keep It Simple Saint"!
