Chase Bank is horrible. They are the puppets of the Federal Reserve. I know it's sad to see places try and ban cash. I just make firm, but subtle suggestions when people don't want to accept cash.
Quick example: I went to pizza hut a few weeks ago. My total was $10. There was a sign that said "Sorry, but we cannot accept any bill greater than $20".
The smallest bill I had was a $50, except for a $5 and three $1's, so he asked,
"Cash or card?"
"Cash", I replied.
I pulled my money and handed tried to give the $50, he alluded to the sign and so I showed him that this is what I have.
So when he wouldn't accept, I said in a calm, gentle, matter-of-fact tone,
"Well, do you have any $50's or $100's that you wanna give me? Since there's really no value to 'em?"
He paused for about 4 seconds and smiling, gladly accepted the $50.
I was blown away like 4 years ago when the secretary/assistant at the dentist's office said they didn't take cash.

Interesting! I'm really not surprised with the bank of America comment, I've never had any dealings with them, maybe only read articles over the year about how messed up they are.
BofA is starting to pop up a fair amount more around here.
@OneofTen The worst bank I ever did business with used to be called Nation's Bank now known as Bank Of America which used to be awesome until NB hostile took over them...
