THE LEVEL OF INSANITY IN OUR LOCKDOWN
I need a new watering can. I know that they sell them at Walmart in the garden center.
I got to Walmart AFTER the garden center closed, so I went into the store, since they have watering cans inside too, even though they are roped off.
I took my watering can to the self checkout and scanned it in, no problems. Then, out of nowhere, the cash monitor swooped in, grabbed my watering can, yelled at me "YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BUY THAT!" (continued...)
She then proceeded to invade my space (hey, what about the 6 feet??), and punch the screen to remove the charge from my bill.
I said to her, "I know it's not your fault, but these watering cans are for sale in your garden center." She said that I will have to come back when the garden center is open to get the can.
THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SELL INSIDE THE STORE AN ITEM THAT CAN BE BOUGHT OUTSIDE AT THE GARDEN CENTER.
WHAT THE HECK??!! WHO IS MAKING THESE DECISIONS????
