Papyrus 52 has parts of John 18:31–33 on the recto and 18:37–38 on the verso, and is dated 80 to 150 A.D. The Provenance is Fayum or Oxyrhynchus, Egypt. The book was written sometime between 68 and 96 A.D. by the apostle John, an eyewitness to Jesus.
