David (ca. 1036-966 BC; 1 Kings 12:19, etc). Davidic dynasty. The Tel Dan stele, line 9, reads: byt dwd “House of David.” The Dhiban Mesha stele, line 12, reads: w'sb msm 't ar'l dwdh “I captured from there it’s Davidic lion.”

89. Bible Prophecy

Dead Sea Scroll 1QIsa(a) for Isaiah 53:11 reads: “After the suffering of his soul he will see light and be satisfied by his knowledge. The righteous one, my servant, will make many righteous, and he will bear their iniquities.”

Papyrus 13 is dated 225–250 A.D., and has portions of the book of Hebrews. Hebrews was written before 70 A.D. In 2:17 it reads that Jesus was to: hilaskethai tas hamartias tou laou “make atonement for the sins of the people.”

Codex Sinaiticus is dated 330-360 A.D. and contains the entire Greek New Testament. In Acts 5:30,32, Peter and the other apostles testified before the Sanhedrin, "The God of our fathers raised up Jesus ... And we are witnesses of these things.”

Codex Vaticanus is dated 300-350 A.D. and contains the majority of the Greek New Testament. In Acts 3:15 (below) Peter with John says to the crowd concerning Jesus, “You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this.”

Papyrus 72 (below image) has portions of 1,2 Peter and Jude and is dated 200-400 A.D. Speaking of Jesus, a section of 2 Peter 1:16 reads: epoptai genethentes tes ekeinou megaliotetos “we were eyewitnesses of his grandeur.”
