“The teaching of the Trinity and Christ being God is biblical.”
No way that it would be biblical.
Jesus asked his disciples: “Who do you say I am?”
The right answer was: “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” (Matthew 16:16)
“Jesus is God” is wrong answer.
“The teaching of the Trinity is biblical”
It isn’t.
He who is God says that there is no other God except Him:
“I am the LORD, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God.” (Isaiah 45:5)
Trinity means that there are three, “no other” means that there is only one.
Christians don’t have God, they have a meaningless formula called the Trinity stating that one equals three, and three equals one.
Jesus says: “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” (John 17:3)
"to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen." (Jude 1:25)
I agree with you that the trinity is not expressly discussed in the Bible, but have you considered that the concept of a triune mind is similar to the way the human mind functions. The Freudian concept of Id, ego, and super-ego kind for articulates the idea.
Also considering Jesus as God is a claim in the Bible, the question must be asked, was all of God's being trapped in the flesh? If so who would he have prayed to?
The reason I mention the human mind seems triune is that the bible does state we are made in God's image. I don't think God has fingers and toes to model us after so the image we are built in must be some other aspect of his being. The mind seems like the most likely place to look for similarities.
Yeah once I got close enough for them to hear me they came running. I think they got turned around following a pedestrian. Going to have to figure out how they got out and patch it up today.
