Today’s writing… Inspired by Isaiah 26:3-4 and Jeremiah 29:11-13.

PERFECT PEACE

Peace of heart comes not from a lack of adversity, but by keeping it at your back, and the Savior before. Like the kite which rises upon the tempest or the sail which drives us safe to shore, it is the gale that delivers the desired goal; the struggle makes us whole. The fierce storm is our dearest friend if the Savior’s face we seek; the old is torn, the nature reborn, the Kingdom comes for the meek.
