My family on both sides have been interested in history, Christian life and some basic theology. The last years I have delved into reading some Church History, world history, some modern Apologetics.
Apologetics & Nutrition: In-general: The Bible. Christians, cultural/nominal "Christians" and heathen alike...
The New Living Translation is my everyday favourite. :-)
By Tyndale.
William Tyndale, England/UK, is, from what little I have read/seen about him, my hero "Protestant Reformer" #1, I heard he and Luther were friends and collaborated a lot about the Bible. Tyndale had a LOT to say for both the Bible in Germany, eventually England/UK, and even Shakespeare's language and prose, that "got much of the glory" from the world. Tyndale would rather the glory go to God, and that God "open the King of England's eyes".
