To Brother Yun's defense. From a Norwegian from many generations of Christians and missionaries.

This is a bit of the stories I have heard and read. In the 18-1900s, Missionaries to China had figured it would take 28 million years to reach the country. Western Missionaries were confronted by the most fervent, ardous among them and faced with this teaching: "Had they ACTUALLY repented?" (They say Marie Monsen from Norway said this.) And they found out that actually, they had not. After this episode, revival fires hit, God's spirit poured out, the torches of the Holy Spirit were ablaze. It went over to the local Chinese. Not long after, the Western Missionaries were expelled. Their job was done. The Chinese Christians saw God's power, revival that the world has not seen.
Brother Yun is a long-lasting fruit of the long-lasting effort to shorten the literal 28 million years it would take Westerners and others to reach China for God/Jesus Christ/the Gospel.
