i am new to DishDash, so it this like a private Christian Facebook, not personal emails as in Yahoo or Gmail from me to personal friends?

You can also send private messages to users, but usually it's open and for all to see.
I never used social media before DD, so I can't really compare...

@erdenpilger What do you mean by not secure in a technical sense? Hackers can get in or what?
@Ruth this for example is a private message, only for you to see. I changed the flag of the message from public to direct.
It took me a while, especially with those 4 categories, the one being not DingDash, but you get along after a bit of tinkering.

@Ruth well, it isn't censored as far as I know. Thats an important difference. But its not secure in a technical sense. I posted on that recently.
