In another aggressive attack on freedom of speech, Pavel Durov, the founder and CEO of the Telegram messaging app, was arrested in France yesterday for alleged offenses related to his messaging app.

BTW. I love Telegram app ♥️ and have 2 different accounts tied to dead phone numbers in Asia They were obtained before the local requirements to give official picture ID and upload of current photo. US phone account # is VOIP.
Telegram has an option to encrypt your one on one communications called "secret chat." Use that to protect your privacy. I use Tor via proxy option for everything except audio/video chat.
