I am developing a ne theory. I start to think ATT was the intended target, and it wasn’t about bombing, but about creating an event to hack data.

When a fire breaks out, data centers power down their systems in order to prevent damage per internal safety protocol. This includes default power supplies, backup generators, and batteries. It means they are blind, their private cloud data are vulnerable, hackers can not only get hold of past but also future encryption keys

Incidentally, Nashville residents reported power outage, internet down, phone down.. just as the ATT wireless service interval protocol requires, which created an opportunity for hackers to heist the server side encryption keys without getting detected (like robbing a bank without any lights and surveillance camera).

It’s also reported that Microsoft cloud customers' data was hacked after the Nashville bombing.

I do not have any theory on who did the job. Conceivably only the white hats would go to extreme lengths to not hurt the civilians.
