When Joseph was to leave the prison at the command of Pharaoh, he left HASTILY. When the Israelites were to leave the Egyptian bondage, they left HASTILY. When the angel delivered Peter from Herod's captivity in the prison, the angel said, "Arise up QUICKLY." At the command of the Lord, you're leaving that prison room hastily, quickly, NOW!

"If the Holy Spirit was withdrawn from the church today, 95 percent of what we do [like music, comedy, and lifeless sermons] would go on and no one would know the difference. If the Holy Spirit had been withdrawn from the New Testament church, 95 percent of what they did would stop, and everybody would know the difference." A. W. Tozer

Going by the constitution of several nations, Joseph was doubly disqualified to be a prime minister. One, he wasn't a citizen of Egypt. Two, he was a convicted criminal. But God's mercy and grace located Joseph and covered his limitations. Look away from your physical limitations. With God, all things are possible.

There's no account in the Bible that Joseph revenged the injustice meted out to him by Potiphar and his wife. Looking back, Joseph realized that without the injustice, he won't be a prime minister. Actually, Potiphar and his wife played vital roles in helping Joseph to become a prime minister. Love your enemies and don't use the weapon of prayer to kill those who God has positioned to push you to your throne through the instrumentality of injustice and wickedness. Everything is working together for your good if you truly love God.

Joseph was translated from the prison to the palace in few minutes. One moment, he was in the prison; the next moment, he was in the palace. Don't despair because your current location shares common boundaries with your palace. Just one more stroke, one more step, you're there. Hold on!

God bless you. Joseph is my favorite character in the Old Testament. My life has been blessed by God through the example of Joseph. I can't exhaust all the lessons I've learned from this great saint.

I realized that in terms of physical achievements, at a time, Joseph was the least among his brothers. Even Benjamin was far ahead of him. Benjamin already had 10 sons when they arrived Egypt, while Joseph just got married few years back with two sons. Joseph's brothers were all pursuing their petty dreams, while God was laying a solid foundation for a "skyscraper project" in Joseph's life. Then suddenly, ONE DAY... Hallelujah! Joseph became the prime minister of the ruling empire. Please allow God to lay a solid foundation in your life and wait for your ONE DAY. Don't envy others who quickly complete their "bungalow projects". God is building a "skyscraper project" in your life.

Why did Joseph's brothers sell a man who'll someday become the most valuable man on earth for only 20 pieces of silver? They didn't know his actual value. Joseph who was worth billions of dollars was wrapped by God with a 20 piece of silver worth of wrap. God concealed Joseph's value so he could be sold fast and so he could arrive fast at his place of destiny. But immediately he arrived at Egypt, God unwrapped him and his value began to rise till he became the world's "MVP". Don't worry if men despise your worth. God is arranging your quick transportation to your destiny.

Joseph's brothers first stripped him of his coat of many colors (a symbol of God's glory and righteousness) before they could throw him into the pit. The enemy can't throw you into a pit when you're clothed with God's glory and righteousness. Don't let the enemy strip you of your coat of many colors.

After Joseph's brothers threw him into a pit, they sat down to eat bread. What wickedness! They didn't know that the Joseph in the pit will someday give them bread to eat. Are men celebrating thinking you're down in the pit? Rejoice! They'll come to you for bread.

Some people wrongly teach that Jesus' only name is Yahusha Hamashiach and not Jesus Christ, and that it's wrong to call Him Jesus Christ. I got powerfully saved by calling on Jesus. I've also witnessed great signs and wonders by calling on Jesus Christ. Whether we call Him Jesus, Joshua, Jisos, Jesu, Yesu, or Yahusha Hamashiach, we're calling on the same Lord in different languages and tongues. We shouldn't make Biblical doctrines out of nothing.

I've never ceased to wonder why today's church, especially in Africa, seems to prosper "denominationally", but with little or no impact on the polity. The largest denominations can't determine who wins as a counselor of a ward in an election, which is the least elective position, talk less of the office of the president. We'll prefer to pray in the church for the elections, but we refuse to impact the society with the gospel of the kingdom. It's the temperature of the society that determines the healthiness of the church, not the perceived "good" temperature of the church. Let's return to the gospel of the kingdom.

As for me:
I'll make room for ONE - You only Jesus. You're all that matters to me. Not I, but Christ.

While the spirit of blindness has plagued sinners, hindering them from seeing the light of the gospel, believers have allowed the spirit of foolishness into their lives. No wonder 5 out of 10 virgins in the Lord's parable were foolish.

"Don't bother; there's time." This is one of the greatest lies of the devil to people. Now is the day of salvation. Now is the time to begin to execute your plan. No more procrastination.

AN ALPHABETICAL REPRESENTATION OF MY LIFE

U - Z

Unclean, unfit, unworthy, and unkempt, I became upturned, uplifted, and uniquely usable.

Vain, a vagabond with a vicious visage, I received virtue and value from my Venerated Victor.

Wounded, weary, and worn, wandering in the woods of wickedness when the Way wrapped His warmth around my wounds.

X-rayed and examined, I was exhausted in my ex-way of life, but I exchanged my excesses for my Lord's excellence.

Yoked and yielded to Yeshua from my youthful years, I yearn to be more yielded to Him than in the years of yore.

Zestfully, zealously, and zappily, I run my race to Zion's zenith.

Every purpose requires a lifetime to fully execute it. How much time have you fully utilized and how much time do you have left in your lifetime?

AN ALPHABETICAL REPRESENTATION OF MY LIFE

Poor, pauperized, and pummeled by preponderant problems, but now prosperous through the poverty of my Provider who became poor for me to prosper.

Quaking, quivering, and queasy, I was quarantined in quietness at the Lord's quarry and quiver.

Rusty, rusticated, rebellious, and repulsive, I was rapidly restored, renewed, re-created, and made righteous by my Redeemer, who's my Righteousness.

Sick, sinful, sullen, and sulky, my Sovereign Saviour saved and sanctified my soul.

Tortured, terrified, and tempted by the tempter, I triumphed over the terrifying troop.

The greatest resource you need to fulfill your purpose on earth is TIME. Use your time well.
"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven."
