God used 10 different precious stones to create Lucifer. Yet when He sinned, there was no redemptive plan for him and the angels who followed him. But when man, who was made of ordinary dust sinned, God sent His Son to redeem him.
"O the love that sought me,
O the blood that bought me,
O the grace that brought me to the fold,
Wondrous grace that brought me to the fold!"
We often speak about the prophetic rod of Moses which he used to subdue Egypt, rout Pharaoh and the entire army of Egypt. But we easily forget that it was first a shepherd's staff before it became a prophet's rod. But Moses had to first drop the rod in the presence of God for there to be a transmutation.
God is still in the business of transmuting your ordinary "professional rod" into a prophetic rod if you'll yield to Him your so-called secular business and surrender it to God as a suitable platform for kingdom advancement.
With that your professional rod -
You'll execute judgement on the gods of the land.
You'll compel the heathen to submit to our God and His Christ.
You'll deliver God's people held in captivity.
You'll divide the red sea.
In this end time move of the Holy Spirit, you may not need to cast away your professional rod. Take it with you back to Egypt and you'll see wonders happening in our business places.
The kingdoms of this world will surely become our Lord's.
It's amazing that after God created Adam and gave him the mandate to rule over the world, God made him a FARMER in order to fulfill the Edenic Commission. God didn't wear Adam an apostle's cloak, a bishop's cassock, or a prophet's mantle. Rather, God gave Adam the non-spiritual tools of agriculture.
Agriculture provided enough platform for Adam to wield both spiritual and secular authority. Never despise your so-called "secular jobs". The Spirit-filled apostle isn't superior to the Spirit-filled classroom teacher in a nursery school or a street sweeper. Learn to use your profession as a platform for kingdom expansion.
When we sin against God, we often go to Him in penitence asking for forgiveness. And we tell God with all sincerity: "I promise You that I won't do it again." God, knowing the future that we're likely going to commit the same sin again and again (and we actually do most times), still forgives us as though He believes us that we're not going to commit that sin again.
This is how God expects us to forgive our spouses when they offend us repeatedly.
When God wants to bless someone but realizes that the person's tongue could make them lose the blessings; if they don't have the needed discipline to control their tongue, God could choose to make them temporarily dumb till the blessings manifest. You can ask Zecharias, the father of John the Baptist.
Should I pray this prayer for someone?
"May God make you temporarily dumb till your blessings manifest, if that is the only way He can help you, in Jesus' Name. Amen"
Any "Amen"?
The greatest act of worship that Jesus ever received while on earth was from Mary - A SINNER WOMAN.
1. It was her life's saving, symbolizing the sacrifice of Jesus who laid down His life for our ransom.
2. It was "reckless". She "thoughtlessly", yet thoughtfully broke her box of alabaster, symbolizing the "reckless" death of Jesus because of His love for us.
3. It offended the religious onlookers like Judas, thus pointing to how the world's religion will be hostile to Jesus' death on the cross.
4. It became one single act that was approved by Jesus to be part of the gospel, for wherever the gospel is preached, Mary's act should also be mentioned.
5. Like this wonderful woman in the Bible, let's "waste" our worship on His Worship.
"The voice of our prayer shouldn't be louder than the voice of our thanksgiving."
Ten lepers saw Jesus passing close to the lepers' colony on His final journey to Jerusalem. Knowing that this could be their last hope of getting healed, they CRIED TO JESUS WITH A LOUD VOICE.
Jesus healed all the ten lepers, but it was only one of the lepers who was a Samaritan that came back to thank Jesus. In thanking Jesus, this Samaritan GLORIFIED GOD WITH A LOUD VOICE.
We should not allow the voice of our prayer to be louder than the voice of our thanksgiving. When we pray aloud to the Lord and He hears us, we should also glorify Him with a loud voice. By doing this, our healing is translated from mere healing to WHOLENESS.
@Sonshine God bless you and thanks for your comment
Looking at the woman with the spirit of infirmity for 18 years, we'll find that two of the greatest enemies of the woman are Satan & religion. Satan bound this woman for 18 years, but when Jesus set her free, the leader of the synagogue protested against her freedom.
While Satan takes pleasure to afflict women, religion delights in seeing them remain under Satan’s bondage. And if by whatever means the woman is set free by the Lord, religion will vehemently oppose the woman for the freedom she received to be able to “look up” instead of being bent and bowed,
Religion wants women to remain bent and bowed, provided they continue to perform their religious rites. Religion smiles in satisfaction, while the woman weeps and wails. Jesus came to set the woman free from religious and Satanic slavery that has hitherto incapacitated her and stopped her from finding full liberty and expression of who God created her to be.
Jesus sets the woman free from Satan and religion. Hallelujah!
I was studying about the woman with the spirit of infirmity for 18 years and I saw the sad picture of many women in marriage. These women have been bruised, abused, and battered by their beastly husbands. As a result, they're now bowed and broken and unable to look up.
Emotionally broken and can't look up
Mentally broken and can't look up
Psychologically broken and can't look up
Spiritually broken and can't look up.
Though these women have lots of potentials in them, but the accidents of a failed marriage have broken them down.
The first thing Jesus did to the woman was to call her to His side - Relationship with Jesus. The first and greatest healing that every bowed and broken woman needs is to have an intimate relationship with Jesus.
Lady, get out of your seat of sorrow, sin, shame, depression, and regrets, and go and stand on the Lord's side of love. Jesus loves the woman. Hallelujah!
