@Chimneysweepwife sadly, many of the people who are leaving - will go to new cities and employ their old politics. Many are going to Idaho and Texas, but people escaping California, Washington, and Oregon will be happy with their new area - but when it comes time to vote - they will be vote for the same party that led for the policies that caused them to 'escape.'
