@Chimneysweepwife Saw one of these fly over by our house during the Rim Fire. We stood outside and watched the water planes fly over the leaping flames and spirt a spit of water on it. Some got the idea to convert a Boeing 747 into a water plane and then the Boeing would come along behind the water planes and DASH water on the flames. It was like a squirt gun verses a fire hydrant! Quite impressive.
