Why watchman née was arrested part b:

“Nee received a 15-year sentence but was not released at the end of his term. His days were divided into three 8-hour segments: hard labor, “reeducation” and solitary confinement.

During his first 20 years in prison, he was allowed no communication so he knew nothing of what had happened to his wife. During his 20th year in prison he became sick, and his captors allowed him limited communication. He found out that his wife Charity had also been arrested and had died years earlier.

On June 1, 1972, Nee also died in prison after spending 20 years in chains for the Gospel.”

Has the historical site of the Red Sea Crossing, according to Exodus 14 been found? This is very plausible and informative information.

Hi Andy
Anchor which I am using belongs to Spotify, thus anything created using Anchor goes to Spotify first. Having said that I have had to rejoin with a new account to synch it with Wordpress. I saw your livecast earlier, but I need to watch it later. All the best brother.

Why watchman née was arrested part a:

“On this day in 1952, Watchmen Nee was arrested and charged as a lawless capitalist. The communist media informed the world of the “crimes of Watchmen Nee,” citing many hundreds of alleged crimes and vices.

Among his crimes: He envisioned evangelizing all of China in the 1930s. He relentlessly encouraged Shanghai Christians to share their faith. His words were hard to ignore: ‘Because you are not witnessing, many have not heard the Gospel. They will be eternally separated from God. What a consequence of our apathy! This is my challenge to you. Witness to at least one person a day. Witness to whomever you meet. It is time for us to put feet to our faith.’ “

This week's guest post is by Manette Kay, a precious sister in the Lord. She writes on the subject of living water.

Hope Renewed

Storm clouds roll over head
Thunder rumbles through falling rain,
Lightning tears through the sky.

Darkness casts a shroud,
Spirits are smothered in dread
Hearts fear the worst.

Hopes are dashed on the shore
Enveloped in the rising tide,
In surrender cries are raised.

The storm ceases,
darkness is cast aside
Hopes’ rainbow appears,
His promise is kept again.

Seeking Heaven's Rain

All our earth is parched and dry
No heavenly fruit is seen,
Saints are hungering, full of sighs
Looking everywhere for rain.

Hearts are full of echoes
Entrapped in chains of Hell,
Intercessors weep, on their knees
Seeking the Spirit thirsts to quell.

Oh for the rumble of thunder
As Heaven opens the floodgates,
Showering Holy Spirit blessings
Filling anew, seeking empty hearts.

Angels At My Side

There are angels at my side
In my darkest hour of need,
In God my hope does reside
As His Word I daily heed.

There are angels by my side
When the sun shines warm,
By God's guidance I decide
My life forever to reform.

There are angels at my side
Whatever life may bring,
In God's care I will abide
My heart His praises will sing.

Just Wait

The sun sets and rises each day
Whatever the weather,
God hears the prayers we say
In our private chamber.

Sometimes birds don't sing
Yet they are still there,
Heaven may be silent
But the Almighty is forever near.

Time continues forever onward
Minutes and hours passing,
Heaven hears your eager words
Just wait, an answer He will bring.
