Next to DingDash my main social media is still Twitter where I have seen a growth in my readers lately. I thank our Father God for His continued guidance and blessings as I strive to follow Him more each day.

I feel very often that my life is a tug of war; I am pulling one way trying to stay healthy and serve God more, but Satan and bad health are pulling me back. I refuse to give him an inch! I dig in and hold the line by leaning on God and His Word, my own strength is insufficient in this tug of war – my Anchor man at the end of my rope is my Lord!
I sought the Lord, and He answered me,
And delivered me from all my fears.
— Psalm 34:4

The reading of a brother's inspiring devotion was preceded by me needing to change a filter in my coffee machine, which then percolated in my spirit (the pun was too good not to use!) to produce this post today.

I read this excellent short devotional today:
“Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you” 1 Peter 5:6-7
Be full of confidence not in yourself or what you can do, but in the Lord and what He can do. Your life, once given to Him, is in His hands, not yours. Live in His strength, not yours. Depend on His resources, not your own.
“Do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.” Hebrews 10:35.
How do you cast your care on Him?
Get out your “fishing pole of faith.”
Tie a hook to the line of your fishing pole.
Take all your cares and put them on a hook.
Cast the line as far as you can into the sea of God’s faithfulness.
Cut the line and leave them out there.
Take “I can’t” out of your vocabulary, and replace it with “God can!”
