@xixiangdong Hello brother. Yes, I'm sorry about my insufficient statement. I was answering the question in the box which asked, 'What's on your mind?' So I typed in my reply thinking that I would possibly be led to a thread expressing similar thoughts, however, I wasn't.
I am concerned about the condition of much of the western church, however. Of course, I know that I shouldn't be since God has His church exactly where He wants it to be. But He does seem to be pruning away much of what, to me, seems to be dead. In my area, many mainline denominations have allowed the world to creep in quite dramatically and seemingly is now without power. Whereas much of the church in the east and in parts of Africa, seems to be thriving, even under persecution.
Therefore I used the anaemic analogy since the cells of the church in the west need an infusion of Holy Spirit/Iron to restore it to health.

@Galatian It was a good analogy! No need to apologize. I agree. I wasnt bragging, but trying to be edifying

@xixiangdong God is doing a work in my life (praise Him) which is stretching my own understanding. I strongly relate to Romans 12:2 right now. I have been reading a book by Andrew Murray, 'With Christ In The School Of Prayer' since January. It's not a long book, but so profound that I can only read a couple of pages at a time then have to put it aside for it to sink in. Even then, I have to re-read. God is so good and so patient. I succumb to tears far more easily than I did when younger. It's His work. Everything! Even this Covid situation is under His control. We are His work. All we can do is to trust and obey. I urge you to read the book I mentioned (if you haven't already done so).
