Say no to genocidal China hosting the Olympics! Hello friends and colleagues,
As you know, the U.S. State Department has declared China is committing genocide against the Uyghurs and other ethnic minorities in Xinjiang (formerly East Turkistan). The genocide is among many atrocities and crimes committed by the Chinese Communist Party.
Save the Persecuted Christians is joining with the Committee on the Present Danger: China's Captive Nations Coalition and Women's Rights without Frontiers along with other human rights and faith groups to encourage the U.S. Olympics Committee (USOC) to move the 2022 Winter Olympics out of China. In the letter, we remind the USOC and the IOC of their charter commitments, and international obligations pertaining to the 1948 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment for Genocide.
The short deadline for signatures is Tuesday, April 13.
