In Deut. 7: vs 6 we read, ‘For you are a holy and set-apart people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a special people to Himself out of all the peoples on the face of the earth.’ The Lord made a covenant with Israel from the time of Abraham, the Father of our faith, the life, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus and the many prophecies in the OT and NT of Israel’s special identity and destiny for Jew and Gentile alike.
