Deadly plagues hit the Roman Empire. When they did, Early Christians responded differently than the pagans and became known for their courage.

What will we be known for?

@Joshua_D_Jones
I wish I could say with courage and trust in the mighty attonning power of the cross. However, that was not what I saw. Most were as frighten as the non-believers and did not have the discernment to see behind the fear that was /is bombarded daily by the propaganda machine.... the establishment media.
Sorry to sound so jaded.

@Joshua_D_Jones I am starting a new chapter in my book about Romans. I found your question intriguing. What is your connection or interest in the Roman Empire? Thank you.

@sueeason01 My interest is historical. Particularly as it contextualise the NT.

@Joshua_D_Jones, I am determined to not be known for fear or being careless. Much more concerned we are erring on the side of looking like we are afraid in America though.
