@HopefullyDevoted So, our options are to stop using the internet or why?
@HopefullyDevoted In my previous post I wrote 'why' when it should read 'or what?' We have enough some town stores in our area I had thought this morn I'm going to work with them even if it's a bit more cost. Do you use a house phone or flip phone. (I have only a flip and it's off as much as possible - but I don't get a lot of calls/texts. And I have to agree, this site is SOOO helpful. Anyone have better ways for security? We've mentioned Duckduckgo and tor. Any other suggestions?
@KarMarJo57 yes, me too. . .local small stores as much as possible. Farms too. I have both a house phone and a 3G phone (blackberry style). It won't be supported after 11/21, I believe. So I will go without after that. When we travel, it is a hassle to not have the smartphone when every business seems to expect everyone to have one. But it's ok. . .we manage. I'm thinking about a VPN. I use a browser right now called Vivaldi. There is a browser called Brave people like for security.

I have found signal to be the best text app. I switched from typical sms texting to signal
@HopefullyDevoted Thank you all for your suggestions. I'm looking into it more.
@KarMarJo57 😁haha. no. I
agree with you. I try hard to use Amazon only if i can't find an item I am looking for anywhere else! (Like a book that a person self published) I don't go to Whole Foods (Amazon) or use Google, WalMart, Target... Got rid of my smart phone. We each must decide what to do with the information we come across in accordance with biblical precepts. I am thankful for the internet in one way: it has been used to expose so much of the enemy's plans to us in these last days!
