God honors persecution for speaking the truth the same as he honors persecution for the sake of preaching the Gospel. As Jesus told Pilate, “I’ve come into the world for this: to give evidence about the truth.” (John 18:37). If we are persecuted for sharing the message of personal salvation, fighting for election integrity, or speaking the truth about abortion or sexuality, it is all for the sake of Christ who testifies to the truth.
