Choose persecution over oppression.

If we go to prison, if we are persecuted, it is on assignment; it’s part of our mission to defeat darkness. Persecution does not reflect a lack in Jesus’s authority and power. Nor does persecution reflect weakness in us. On the contrary, persecution happens when we apply the power of Jesus.

Oppression takes place when we give satan dominion in our lives. Persecution happens when we take dominion.

If we go to prison, or suffer because of our faith, Jesus calls us “blessed.” “...because the kingdom of God belongs to you.” (Matthew 5:10)

If you are drawing enemy fire, God bless you! You are doing the Lord’s work and He is pleased with you!
