Can I suggest something for you?
Try to turn your perspective 180 degrees around for a certain period of time, maybe a month. During this time try to make a case for what I've just said and find supporting scripture.
If you do that and create a post here where you show me your findings, I'll be more than happy to add my two cents of understanding to the argument.
