Freedom is not the gift of government; it is the gift of God. Freedom is only withheld when we decide the price is too high to pay.

@KarlGessler Freedom must be a gift of God, since so many people on the planet do not have it. It seems to me that corrupt nations get corrupt leaders; and that nations that abuse freedom lose it.
