See ehn...from what I've read in the Holy Scriptures, Father God hears and answers prayers! Many of our issues with prayer...is that we actually don't know how to!

Let's pray:

Father, thank You for being approachable and for letting me come to You with hard questions.

I admit that I don't need any more head knowledge-I need
understanding.
I need Your truth, because sometimes the Bible seems to
contradict my daily experiences, especially when it comes to prayer. Sometimes it's hard to believe that You are actually listening when I've prayed the same prayer again and again and again.
So just like Your disciples did, Lord, I'm asking that You teach me to pray. I'm tired of the pretending and all the spiritual games; I want the real thing.
I'm sick of praying prayers that just sound or feel good but have no results. I want to pray what's on Your heart, with Your power.
Help me on this journey, Lord. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
