I wasn't born a practising Christian...not at all!
The truth of Jesus is something I encountered as a teenager( the Gospel was preached to me ).
I'm not religious one bit(meaning my worship of God isn't based on mysticism or denominational practises).
Today i stand as a Follower of Jesus the Messiah, the Truth.
I abide by Historical Christianity... recorded in the Gospels, Acts of Apostles and the Epistles to the Churches.

But really we can never have a good enough excuse to give up on life or on God!
Giving up....is saying "God I just don't want to obey you anymore it is too too hard...it ain't humanly possible!"
Jesus Our Lord has given us His Word to obey...and His Spirit to empower us!
1Jn 5:3 T4T I say this because our obeying what God commands us to do is the same as loving him. And it is not burdensome/difficult for us to do what God commands us to do.
