When I encounter someone trying to enlighten me about something where they feel they need to teach or correct me, this scripture is a sort of a test or a filter to see if the wisdom is coming from the Spirit of the Lord. Help us Lord to humble ourselves. Also...Does the 'wisdom' I share pass the test?
James 3:17
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
@Rinati I know this verse, but how you presented it as a filter for truth & wisdom was enlightening. Thank you. I will use it regularly now.
