"The wicked strut about on every side when vileness is exalted among the sons of men."
Psalm 12:8

So, let us not exalt vileness. Turn off Hollywood.

"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

Sermon for Life

The New Testament says
that the most important question
that we must face is that of Jesus Christ;

for, it tells us, our life in this world here and now,
the whole meaning of death,
and indeed, our life throughout eternity depends entirely
and solely upon our answer to this question:

“Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?”

The New Testament does not hesitate to say that.

Listen to the apostle Peter saying it unequivocally in one of his first recorded sermons: “There is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12)—this name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
--DM Lloyd-Jones

This is one of the most sobering lines in all of scripture:

“The axe is already taking aim at the root of the tree. Every tree that doesn’t produce good fruit is to be cut down and thrown into the fire.”
Matthew 3:10

Are we bearing good fruit? We don’t have forever. It’s best we tend to those roots.

Today was the graduation ceremony at Norwich University.
BIG congrats to the class of 2021!
Now the baton has been handed to the class of 2022.
My son is now a senior‼️

Saturday morning and there is still Hope in Jesus Christ! A Hope that does not fade with the passing of time! If you do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ, come unto Him today! Jesus is continually calling you, come as you are today!

Just yesterday I had to prune my pear tree which had grown straggly, reshaping it and removing the dead wood. Today I pray that Father God will prune me, shape me and remove dead wood, that I may bloom for Him bearing good fruit in His name.

I don't post enough stuff that is just for fun. How about this? A good picture of most. A couple of people look concerned or something...

I love these kids!

We live in a world amongst folk who need Christ, their only hope is to see Him reflected in us by our love and compassion.
