As a Stay-At-Home-Dad for more than 15 years I’ve thoroughly loved everything with caring for my family and our home.

But since catching Covid a little over a month ago, discovering an issue with my heart, getting through a lung infection and adjusting to a whole host of medication to keep me healthy until the heart issue can be resolved, it has taken a lot out of me.

@Berrybunchfamily I’m sorry you have to be on blood thinners! I had to go on them for 3 months after my bypass and valve replacement. I was counting on the day I was done with those! ❤️

@davereimer

The BP meds taste vile! When I go to bed I usually get a taste of them dissolving. I don't 'feel' anything from blood thinners
Bit with the beta blockers, I feel them doing something almost 2 hours exactly after i take them - but that is now fading each day

I'm really hoping it isn't more than 6-8 months...that's a wild guess as we simply know how long I'll have to wait for an appointment

Can't wait to come off them. But I do understand their importance

Yeah, it sucks but I'm getting there and truly find being grateful much easier!

@Berrybunchfamily No no side effects at all. I was just happy I didn’t have to worry about getting a cut anymore

@davereimer I've been looking forward to that since my first pill.....
