So we got this letter in the mail yesterday, official government business for Statistics Canada. There are a few interesting and disturbing sentences in this letter, such as "Participation in the Labour Force Survey is mandatory" and "required under the authority of the Statistics Act." The person signing the letter is apparently a "Director, Central Region." Sounds a lot like a Communist position. I am MORE than a little suspicious that this will be used to usher in Universal Basic Income.
