I have always thought that the seed in Matthew 13 was the word of God sown in hearts. But the Word says

19 The seed that fell on the footpath represents those who hear the message about the Kingdom and don’t understand it. 37 He answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom.

Some of us were born into a godly family. Others are born in awful circumstances and their little spirits are trampled upon. Shallow families give no spiritual nutrition. Worldly families take no time to feed their children spiritually. They are too busy.
God brings us into other's lives to improve their soil.

The thing about soil is that it can be improved. Jesus saves lives from every type of environment and replants them, perhaps near us.

Hi there are 2 parables you quoted here and it looks like you have put them in to one. The verse 19 refers to seed sown in hearts and 38 refers to people sown in to the world. Resultant people from verse23 (which you skipped)are people God would use in verse 37. I feel we should be careful not to skip verses in scripture. God Bless you with more knowledge of Himself.
