POLL: Assume the election is done and over and there is NO new recognized political party created....
If registered R, should we abandon the party that abandoned us, out of spite to make a point, or is it more sensible to stay R, and thus have the ability to vote people out in the primary?

It's very difficult to "primary them out". This past election I worked online for so many great new, America First candidates who tried to run grass roots campaigns. They were snubbed by the party--got NO support. The GOP establishment would even run candidates against them to split the vote. Circulate smear stories against them. And money. No one donates to these new faces taking on the big guys and the races take millions $. I saw so many excellent candidates crash and burn because the party turned on them and starved them out. I think for this to work we would have to target just a few strategic races, have well known challengers and really support them financially on a national level.
