In the Old Testament, we read the tragic story of Cain who murdered his brother Abel in a jealous rage when Abel's offering was accepted, and his own was not.
Jesus tells us a similar story about a brother filled with rage, but for the opposite reason of Cain's! He was enraged because his brother, DID NOT have a worthy offering or sacrifice, yet his return was celebrated by the Father! The son could only afford to offer himself!
This is the Gospel Message! Hallelujah! We come to Him as we are!
